Since the 90s we had already been brewing craft beer in a family setting, and since 2009 we have re-started new experiments that have found feedback even outside the inner circles. After a gratifying feedback and a growing awareness of our value, we officially set up the company and in 2015 we opened the Kottabos® brewery with an adjoining brew-pub, to live our passion just as we always imagined.
In the heart of the Nebrodi Mountains we give life to one of the most loved beverages with an authentic taste. We carry on a tradition that combines the accurate selection of raw materials with millenary and renewed over time techniques.

About us
A very ancient name. Kottabos® (or Cottabo) is an ancient convivial game that was widespread in Magna Graecia and was attributed to the Sicilian people. It literally means “empty cup” and represented the most playful part of symposia.
